About Me

A Little About Mr. Sklar

I am originally from Evanston, Illinois, and I am a graduate of Drexel University. I am proud to teach at Universal Audenried Charter High School, where my goal every day is simple: help every scholar build the confidence, skills, and habits they need to succeed — in math class and far beyond it.

This year I teach Algebra II, Algebra Statistics, Essentials of Algebra, and Fundamentals of Math. All of my classrooms run on the same core ideas: show up, stay engaged, work hard, and never be afraid to ask questions or fail.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, playing pickleball, and watching baseball and football. I believe those same interests — curiosity, teamwork, persistence, and a willingness to keep learning — are qualities that help us grow both inside and outside the classroom.

ABWOS — Always Be Working On Something. Effort and persistence are more important than perfection. You are here to grow.
